Topic: You Shall Be A Rallying Point Among MEn

Men are in categories. Some stand alone in the society and live quietly without much clout and influence. Such men do not affect others. The presence of such men does not command much attention. Majority of the people on earth belong to that category. But there are some others who are never seen alone. Even when they seek to be alone, other people always find reason to be around them. Those are men of influence and power. Wherever they appear, such men attract attention because other people would gradually gather around them. Jesus Christ was one of such men. During his lifetime, men always gathered around Him wherever He went. The case in Capemaum was not different.

As soon as news went round that He was around, a lot of people gathered to seek him. Those who came to see Jesus did so because He had solution to their problems. those that needed healing and deliverance knew that the solution to their problems were in His hands. What is your position in life? Do you know that you can become a rallying point? You can become a person of influence if only you can commit yourself to solving peoples' problems. Any man who is committed to solving the problems of others would definitely get the attention and empowerment of God which will distinguish them. Commit yourself to solving problems today and you shall become a rallying point among men.

Prayer Point: Lord, I volunteer myself today to solve the problems of humanity. Empower me for result in Jesus name. Amen!!!

ASUU MIGHT STRIKE!!!

Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), may begin strike. A high percentage of its members were in favor of the strike. Sources say that about 82% of its members in University of Ibadan were in support of it.  According to information gathered the union is asking its members if the union should begin another strike following alleged failure of the federal government to faithfully implement the 2009 agreements and 2013 Memorandum of Understanding it signed with the union. The academic union says the federal government is owing universities over N880billion intervention fund. As a result, the union conducted a nationwide referendum on whether to resume its suspended strike action or not. Edited from Vanguard
