 Nnamdi Kanu says he is not afraid of arrest anymore. The leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, wars the federal government that his arrest would lead to a faster actualization of the Biafran dream of an independent state. Kanu who spoke in Umahia yesterday said, 'If you arrest me, Biafra will come even quicker than we anticipate. I am not afraid of being arrested. I have been there before and if need be, I will also be there again. I will be very happy if they re-arrest me. If we are hoping for 90% compliance with the boycott of Anambra State Governorship election, my arrest will make the compliance 100%'. ASUU MIGHT STRIKE!!!

Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), may begin strike. A high percentage of its members were in favor of the strike. Sources say that about 82% of its members in University of Ibadan were in support of it.  According to information gathered the union is asking its members if the union should begin another strike following alleged failure of the federal government to faithfully implement the 2009 agreements and 2013 Memorandum of Understanding it signed with the union. The academic union says the federal government is owing universities over N880billion intervention fund. As a result, the union conducted a nationwide referendum on whether to resume its suspended strike action or not. Edited from Vanguard
